Bitfinex Review

Bitfinex does not accept credit card as a method of deposit as they only accept deposits through cryptocurrencies or bank wire transfer. In addition to this, Bitfinex is quite a bit harder to use than some of their competitors we have reviewed here on

However, if you are a serious trader and intend to make a lot of transactions, Bitfinex might be the choice for you. Since they offer margin trading and a platform for you to trade cryptocurrencies instantly at a market rate, you will save a lot of money on transaction costs with Bitfinex.

Bitfinex fees are only 0.1-0.2% on trades, and a 0.1% fee on bank wire deposits, which is lower than any other exchange we have reviewed. Bitfinex offers online wallets for you to hold your funds in, however if you are planning to not trade with them frequently, we recommend you to withdraw them into your own wallet. You can learn more about wallets and how to keep your cryptocurrencies safe in our Learn-section.
